Important Announcement!
The Office of Research Compliance and the OHIO IACUC are thrilled to announce the transition from LEO to Cayuse for IACUC protocol submissions. The LEO IACUC Application will be replaced by the Cayuse 'Animal Oversight' module. This new system will streamline the submission process for research involving animal subjects, ensuring a more efficient and user-friendly experience.
We encourage Principal Investigators and key personnel to attend at least one of our virtual training sessions to familiarize themselves with the new system and associated processes. These sessions are designed to be educational and interactive, so please join us to learn more about the transition and Cayuse.

About Animal Subjects Research at OHIO
All studies by faculty, students or staff that involve animal subjects are considered animal subjects research by the federal government. These activities are governed by university and federal policies, and all faculty, students and staff must receive approval from the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) before animals can be brought to campus. Laboratory Animal Resources (LAR) is charged with the care of all animals used in teaching and research at 51ยายื.
